NIKE Canada's Rooftop Media Launch
Pacific PR Strategies recently worked with Nike Canada and Praxis PR of Toronto to develop and execute an innovative media relations event to launch Nike Canada's new off ice hockey training program, including its new training shoe, the SHOX 45. The roof top event, held under tents, featured the premier of Nike's new SHOX 45 TV commercials, a huge barge billboard for Nike sailing through the harbour and sweeping views of the north shore mountains and harbour. More than 50 media attended or conducted satellite interviews with Calgary Flames Captain and Nike Canada spokesperson Jerome Iginla who was on hand to take a dozen Vancouver Minor Hockey League players through a series of Nike off ice training exercises.
